Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year

I love this time of year..Christmas and the New Year. Christmas is my favorite holiday of all. I didn’t do much decorating this year though because I won’t be here and I’m the one that takes care of all of that. So instead of a Christmas tree and outside lights, I decorated our mantel and the alcove above it:

I also made these wreaths. I got my inspiration from here, and mine look much better in person than they do in the photo.

Anyway, wishing you a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I’m going to be flying to Australia on Saturday for a much needed, “taken too long to get back”, trip home to see my family. Technically, I’ll miss most of Christmas because I’ll be in the air for 15+hours starting the evening of December 24th and miraculously it will be December 26th when I land in Oz..
